Eva Agus

I am Eva Agus, a visual and textile artist living in the SF Bay Area, California. I am a Berkeley PhD civil engineer who is disabled due to terminal cancer. Art has become my meditative practice to explore my identity and to process my end of life.

My work blends my technical background, my love for fashion design, and a fascination with Asian art traditions. I grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia and hold deep connections to the cultures of Southeast Asia. The mediums that I hold dear are ink drawing, batik, and painting.
