Eva Agus

Eva Agus (Oakland, b. Jakarta, Indonesia) is a multidisciplinary artist and infrastructure engineer. Her signature wood panel paintings feature gouache background juxtaposed with vibrant details in acrylic and ink. Collectors around the world have created serene healing spaces as well as joyful dynamic interiors with her art.

Eva blends technical precision, ancestral motifs and emotive storytelling to depict California through an Indonesian visual lens. Her works portray everyday encounters with nature, elevated by ancient batik patterns executed with mathematical fidelity. Her award-winning art has been featured in exhibits and public art collections throughout the West Coast.
